Jim's Photos
Jim Anderson has been a pilot since 1968, inheriting
his father Bob’s love of flying and a 1940 J-3 Cub that has been
in the Anderson family for 60 years. That love of flying and an interest
in photography led to the establishment of Anderson Aerial Photography
in 1980. Jim added a 1978 172 Skyhawk to the business which has increased
his aerial photography coverage area. Jim works throughout the State of
Michigan with specialization in Northern Michigan.
After 31 years as a Speech and Language Pathologist in Traverse City,
Michigan, Jim retired in 1997 to pursue his many interests. He continues
to operate the Michigan Basketball Academy and officiates both boys and
girls high school basketball. Jim and his wife Jan reside in Traverse
City.
Jim
has recently taken over the Assistant Director of the National Cherry
Festival Airshow.
